Prosthetics for Palestine

Physicians for Palestine, in collaboration with Healing Hands Fund, launched the Prosthetics for Palestine program in response to the devastating surge in amputations in Gaza — now among the highest rates in the world.

Rooted in humanity, dignity, and sustainability, the program focuses on training, education, and system-building to strengthen local leadership and ensure long-term impact. We deliver high-quality prosthetics while developing lasting rehabilitation infrastructure, including limb-manufacturing labs and clinics.

Beyond providing prosthetic limbs, we take a holistic approach, offering physical therapy, psychological care, nutritional guidance, and comprehensive follow-up rehabilitation.

While our current operations are focused in Gaza, our long-term vision is to expand access to quality prosthetic and rehabilitation care for Palestinians across neighboring areas.
