Dr. Hanna Eadeh is an Emergency Medicine physician based in Houston, Texas, and the founding President of Physicians for Palestine (PfPal). With over two decades of humanitarian service, Dr. Eadeh has led and participated in numerous medical missions in the West Bank for more than 20 years, and has also provided care in international missions in Turkey and Jamaica.
Drawing on his background in frontline emergency care, EMS medical direction, and international telemedicine, Dr. Eadeh brings both clinical expertise and organizational leadership to PfPal.
Dr. Eadeh’s vision for PfPal is rooted in neutrality, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality medical aid where it is most urgently needed.
Rajai Khoury was born in Ramallah, Palestine in 1950. After graduating from the Friends School in Ramallah, he attended the American University in Beirut, where he received his medical degree. He completed his training in general surgery and cardiovascular surgery in 1982, and practiced cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery for 35 years.
Dr. Khoury is certified by the Boards of Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Venous and Lymphatic Diseases, and RPVI. He is a member of several professional organizations including The American College of Surgery, Society of Thoracic Surgery, American Venous Lymphatic Society, and American Venous Forum. Dr. Khoury established and presided over the Khoury Surgical Group, Khoury Surgical Associates, Khoury Vascular and Vein, and The Vein Clinic of the Ohio Valley. He served on the boards of multiple healthcare establishments and continues to be an advisor and a medical volunteer with multiple organizations.
Currently, he is in the practice of vein and vascular medicine along with medical community development under Wheeling Hospital, a division of West Virginia University Medicine. Dr. Rajai Khoury is married to Dr. Nahla Nassar Khoury. Together they have three children who are practicing physicians, they also are grandparents to two future doctors.
Dr. Ruba Sarsour is dual board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. A graduate of the Friends School in Ramallah, Palestine, she earned her undergraduate degree at East Carolina University (ECU) in North Carolina and her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). Dr. Sarsour authored the “Renal Disorders in the ICU” chapter in the OMICS Group eBooks – Bedside Critical Care Guide.
Dr. Sarsour is the founder and president of Hanan Relief Group (HRG), a nonprofit organization working with vulnerable communities in the U.S. and directly on the ground in Palestine. The organization focuses on economic sustainability and resilience, creating pathways for individuals and families to achieve long-term independence. Under her leadership, HRG became an accredited USCIS representative organization, enabling the team to provide essential legal services such as asylum applications and status adjustments.
In addition, Dr. Sarsour serves on the board of the Jerusalem Fund, a Washington, D.C.–based independent think tank and educational foundation dedicated to advancing an informed understanding of Palestine and shaping policy discourse through research, analysis, and public programming. She is also an active Rotarian, engaging in service and leadership that foster community impact both locally and globally.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Sarsour is a proud wife and mother of two children, balancing her dedication to family with her unwavering commitment to humanitarian work and advancing health equity.
Ramzi Khoury is the Chief Financial Officer of Physicians for Palestine, where he oversees all aspects of financial strategy, compliance, and operations. With more than 10 years of experience, he brings deep expertise in nonprofit finance, tax compliance, and organizational stewardship.
In his role, Ramzi ensures that Physicians for Palestine maintains the highest standards of transparency and accountability. He works closely with the Board of Directors and leadership team to strengthen internal controls, manage budgets, and steward donor contributions responsibly, helping to sustain and expand the organization’s life-saving mission of providing medical care and support to Palestinian communities.
is an honor graduate of Alexandria Medical School. He was trained in general surgery at Howard University in Washington, DC, where he received the Resident of the Year award, and attained plastic surgery training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Mustafa is in private practice in Wichita Falls, Texas, where he is chief of plastic surgery at Kell West Regional Hospital. He served as President of the Wichita County Medical Society, Vice President of the Texas Rehabilitation Commission Medical Committee, and as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the National Arab American Medical Association (NAAMA), from which he received the NAAMA outstanding physician award.
He is a member of many professional associations including ACS, ASPS, ASAPS, and TMA. Dr. Mustafa has served as director of Physicians for Peace, and is the founder of its Palestine chapter. He also served as President of the North Central Texas Medical Foundation for many years, and is deeply involved in medical volunteer work, particularly in Palestine.
Additional awards he has received include the Americanism award from the Daughters of the American Revolution for his international volunteer work and the President’s and Physician Diplomat awards by Physicians for Peace. He was recently awarded the volunteerism award by the American College of Surgeons. He is a proud board member of Physicians for Palestine, and serves as the treasurer and vice chair of The Jerusalem Fund.
Dr. Sami Dughman is an orthopedic surgeon with over four decades of experience caring for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions involving the spine, hips, knees, arms, and hands.
He completed his undergraduate studies at San Francisco State University in 1972 and went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium in 1979. After medical school, he completed his internship at Loyola Hospital in Chicago (1979–1980) and a year of research at Hines VA Hospital, focusing on spinal cord injury (1980–1981). He then completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1985.
Dr. Dughman began his career with The Permanente Medical Group in 1985, first in San Jose before serving as Chief of Orthopedics in Hayward for ten years. He later practiced in Union City and Fremont, where he continued to provide comprehensive orthopedic care until his retirement in 2014.
His dedication to patient care brought him back to medicine several times following retirement. He worked at the VA Hospital in Martinez, California from 2015 to 2021, then joined Bay Area Community Health for a year and a half. In 2024, Dr. Dughman returned once again to Kaiser Fremont, where he provides office-based orthopedic care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dughman has been known for his skill, compassion, and commitment to improving the quality of life for his patients.
With over 45 years of experience in the restaurant and real estate management industries, Bajis built a successful career dedicated to operational excellence and strategic leadership. His professional journey has been defined by a commitment to managing and growing businesses, fostering a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive in competitive markets.
Beyond the business world, he has dedicated himself to humanitarian work, focusing on medical missions to Palestine. For years, he volunteered his time and resources to help hospitals and communities in need. This work has involved traveling to Palestine to provide direct assistance in hospitals and coordinating the collection and distribution of essential medical equipment to facilities that are desperately in need.
Bajis had the privilege of collaborating with doctors from around the world to build and grow this medical mission into the successful program it is today. His dedication to this cause is driven by a profound belief in the power of global collaboration to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
Dr. Awadallah is a quadruple board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care, and Neuro-Critical Care. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care and Chief of Medicine at Regional West Medical Center in Nebraska.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from UNC Chapel Hill, his medical degree from St. George’s University, and went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care at East Carolina University (ECU).
Beyond his clinical leadership, Dr. Awadallah is deeply committed to humanitarian work. He serves as the Director of Global Operations with the Hanan Relief Group, where he leads the development of several programs in Palestine
Throughout his career, he has volunteered with numerous organizations both locally and abroad, combining his expertise in medicine with a passion for advancing healthcare access and humanitarian assistance.
Equally devoted to his family, he is a loving husband and proud father of two children.
Committed to advancing health and promoting wellness, Jamie designs health equity strategies that focus on improving outcomes for under-resourced communities. Her 20 years’ of experience stem from working with a variety of community-based nonprofit organizations, hospitals, clinics and education systems.
Jamie currently works in Northern California with John Muir Health as the Director of Community Health Improvement, where she leads the health system’s regional Community Benefit strategy across Contra Costa and Alameda Counties that includes hospital-based clinical services and public health initiatives that serve uninsured, low income and vulnerable populations. Jamie serves on the Board of Directors of three nonprofit organizations: Family Justice Center, Hope Solutions, and Monument Impact, and one global nonprofit, Physicians for Palestine.
Most recently with Physicians for Palestine, Jamie co-founded Prosthetics for Palestine, a humanitarian initiative that works to build sustainable infrastructure for amputees in Gaza and Palestine, more broadly. Jamie holds a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley with a focus on Health and Social Behavior and a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience also from the University of California, Berkeley.
