Medical Donations Delivered to Strengthen Healthcare Infrastructure in Palestine

Due to the partnership between Physicians for Palestine (PfPal) and the American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine (AFRP), and through the exceptional generosity of Mr. Shouky Shaheen, a remarkable set of medical donations has been delivered to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in Palestine.

This collaboration exemplifies how collective effort and shared commitment can produce the best outcomes for our people.

The donations include advanced medical units and equipment that will enhance diagnostic precision, expand access to specialized care, and improve patient outcomes across the region:

• Vascular Center: Double hybrid endovascular catheterization unit and ultrasound diagnostic unit.
• Women’s Health & Breast Cancer Unit: Diagnostic mammogram, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound, operative hysteroscopy, bone-density, and colposcopy units.
• Bone Health: Two DEXA scanners.
• Pathology Laboratory: Automated and immunostaining equipment, paraffin and frozen-section units, 300-slide scanner, and microscopes.
• Pulmonary Function Lab: Serving Palestine’s COPD and pre-surgical population.
• Pediatric X-Ray Room: Child-friendly, low-dose replacement for the old unit.
• Portable Ultrasound Units: Expanding access across departments.

Together, these contributions mark a major step forward in building a stronger, more resilient healthcare system in Palestine.
